Eoin Michael

Eoin Michael was born on January 21st. Much of his delivery I seem to have blocked out already. Someone asked me a question the other day about how long I was in labor... I have no idea, I still haven't asked Dave. I think that may be the only way I will ever find out. LOL

My little guy was due on Jan 18th, but decided to stay a little longer. As it all ended up, after being induced he still refused to make an appearance. When the nurse mentioned a C section for the first time I was terrified. I'm such a huge baby, and I HATE everything medical. I have to say that it was not my favorite experience. I had nightmares about it in the hospital for the next two days... but then I would wake up and see my perfect little angel sleeping in his bassinet next to my bed. It was all worth it.
He weighed 7lbs 8oz
He was 19 1/2 inches long

So far this kidd is pretty entertaining. He must have really vivid dreams, because for about the last week he LAUGHS in his sleep. I wish I could catch it on video because it's about the sweetest thing you have ever seen. All of a sudden in the middle of sleep his mouth opens wide, as I am sitting there preparing for the crying to start... his mouth spreads into a HUGE open mouth smile and a little he he he comes out.
Droopy whines in his sleep, and is about the whiniest, neurotic dog on the planet. I'm hoping that Eoin laughing during sleep will also be indicative of his personality.
